Our Origin Youth are hosting a Teen Mental Health workshop, aimed at educating parents on how to identify and assist with the problems their teens are facing! Historically, there has been a lack of attention to AAPI mental health due to cultural stigma, language barriers, etc., and our youth want to help address the issue!

We will have a guest speaker, Melissa Wee, who is the Mental Health Clinical Manager of the Midwest Asian Health Association. Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

The workshop will take place on Saturday, December 9th from 2pm-3:30 pm at the Chinatown Branch Library 1st Floor Meeting Room. It will take place in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. You can
register here
