Recent Immigration Suspension Town Hall

Because we know that immigration issues are immensely important to our communities, on May 4, 2020, CBCAC partnered with 4 other organizations to offer Zoom Town Hall to discuss the Trump Administration’s 60-day immigration suspension. 50 people attended to listen to 5 panelists discuss the following: what the executive order included and what it did not include; what the order meant in terms of individuals’ civil liberties; what the order meant for people on employment and investment visas; how this order affected Asian Americans. Panelists then answered questions from the participants.
