AAPI for Immigration Reform

We invite you to join us by signing a letter from the broad immigrant community in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) programs.

We need your support to ensure that the need for expanded DACA and DAPA in our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community is heard and the success stories of the current DACA program are not forgotten. Our community cannot wait any longer to begin living the dream with work permits, driver licenses, and affordable options to continue higher education. We need to urge all decision-making bodies to stand with immigrant families. The journey does not end here, but the next step is allowing eligible community members to apply for the DACA and DAPA programs now.

This letter will be shared widely with offices to ask for continual support including members of Congress, the Court, White House, and local offices

The letter will be delivered pending the court date(s) in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Supreme Court, and other key dates.
